Please consult a conservator if you are in any doubt.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003col\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eLay a sheet of blotting paper over the worktop. On top of the blotting paper, place a sheet of non-woven polyester material (such as Bondina) as an isolation layer.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePlace the item to be repaired on top of the two sheets.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eCut the required amount of Tengu Gummed tissue.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTengu Gummed repair tissue can be cut to shape using a knife or create a feathered edge using a water pen for a more discreet edge to the repair.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eShorten the width of the repair tissue if it is too wide.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eOnce the repair tissue is cut to size, place it with the adhesive side facing up, onto a sheet of polyester.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTo reactivate the pre-coated adhesive on the repair tissue, a small amount of water is required.
