This is a purpose-built storage bundle for kākahu, piupiu, and any other garments and textiles that need to be rolled for storage.
The bundle centres on an archival box designed to the specific proportions of kākahu, available in three sizes, paired with a custom-fitted Archival Tube and support rests.
The garment is rolled around the tube and suspended clear of the box's walls and base, reducing pressure points and allowing air to circulate freely around the textile.
The bundle also includes Tyvek for protective wrapping, Cotton Tying Tape, and Self-Adhesive Label Pockets for noting the contents and details on the outside of the box.
Please note that assembled boxes cannot be accepted as returns.
Kākahu Box x1
Available in three sizes and made from 3.1mm Fluted Conservation Board that is acid-free, lignin-free, FSC® certified, and passes the Photographic Activity Test (P.A.T.).
The base is rivet-fastened for durability and boxes are supplied flat-packed for easy shipping, ready to assemble with a Bone Folder.
Archival Storage Tube x1
An archival storage tube made from spiral-wound, natural white, ageing resistant conservation board from KLUG. Photographic Activity Test (PAT) passed in accordance with ISO 18916:2007
Tyvek - x5meters
Tyvek® is made from 100% HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) and is breathable and archival safe. It can be cut to shape using scissors and can be taped, glued or machine sewn to make protective covers to be used like fabric to wrap objects. It has a paper like finish. Cotton Tying Tape x10m
Cotton tape is made from a natural unbleached cotton without any adhesive and is archival quality. 10meters x 10mm wide.

Warranty
We supply products made by various manufacturers. The warranty of the product will be subject to the guarantee policy of the manufacturer, and any claims must be in accordance with the terms of such warranties.
Returns and Exchanges
We will accept returned goods by prior arrangement.

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. The purchaser is responsible for the cost of returning the goods.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please note there are some items we cannot accept as a return.

Faulty or incorrectly supplied goods will be replaced, credited or refunded in compliance with consumer statutory requirements.
Refunds and Credits
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Or if preferred a credit can be issued to your account.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
